SKF medium size slewing ring bearings including four point contact ball type and crossed roller type, customer can select according to applications. Four point contact ball slewing rings can meet the requirement of most applications, and has the advantage of higher limit speed and higher cost performance. But when the application requires stiffness of the bearings, or higher positioning accuracy, a crossed roller type will be the better choice.
SKF slewing bearings are user-friendly because the slewing rings of these two types(crossed roller type and 4-point contact ball type)are designed with same PCD of the mounting holes, which means they can replace each other, and save the time and cost of redesigning or manufacturering the related components during replacement.
